The Siddha Yoga® Meditation Center of San Jose Welcomes You!

You are welcome to join us for spiritual practices such as meditation, chanting, and selfless service, also known as seva. We study Siddha Yoga philosophy and discuss the value of spiritual contemplation in everyday life. On Sundays, after chanting the Guru Gita and meditating, we enjoy a potluck brunch.

Our meditation and chanting programs are free and open to everyone, unless otherwise specified.

June 24—the great day, the blessed day, the birthday of our beloved Guru, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda—is just around the corner! This year, 2017, Gurumayi's Birthday occurs on the first day of the waxing moon.

This live video stream satsang will be held via the Siddha Yoga path website from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. EDT on Saturday, June 24. For those who cannot participate live, the satsang will be available as a webcast until 6:00 a.m. EDT on June 25.

 

Siddha Yoga Celebration Satsang in Honor of Gurumayi's Birthday
Sunday June 25 | 10:15 AM

Families with children up to 12 years of age are invited to participate in this satsang in celebration of Gurumayi's Birthday. Participants will explore Virtues for Birthday Bliss® 2017 chosen by Gurumayi and engage in the Siddha Yoga practices.

Preparation:

- Please bring a journal for each family member who will participate in the satsang.
- Family members may prepare for this satsang by thinking about: "What is one of the virtues from the Gallery of Virtues on the Siddha Yoga path website that you have put into practice in your life?"
